FREE CANADIAN SHIPPING ON ORDERS OF $200 OR MORE

Offer limited to web and telephone orders shipped Expedited Parcel Post within Canada.
Gift cards, and taxes do not count toward order total for free shipping eligibility.
Orders must meet Canada Post size and weight requirements (no dimension greater than 1m, weight less than 30kg)
Free shipping applies only to non-wholesale orders

SHIPPING WITHIN CANADA

Most orders will be shipped with Canada Post, UPS or Purolator. Applicable provincial and federal taxes are applied when your order is processed according to where the item will be shipped. Most orders are shipped from Victoria, BC and take one to two business days to process, in addition to the delivery times shown. Isolated and rural areas may take longer.

Certain products or orders are too large, fragile and/or heavy to be shipped by our standard methods. Please email us at info@artaviskateboards.com, or call 1 (250) 590-2676 (Canada and USA), and we will let you know if your order requires extra freight. A ground door-to-door service for larger items is also available – some restrictions apply.

TAXES

If an order is shipped to the following provinces or territories, Artavi must collect the applicable taxes as described:

  • British Columbia (BC) – 7% PST on merchandise plus 5% GST on merchandise and freight
  • Alberta (AB) – 5% GST on merchandise and freight
  • Saskatchewan (SK) – 5% GST on merchandise and freight
  • Manitoba (MB) – 8% PST on merchandise plus 5% GST on merchandise and freight
  • Ontario (ON) – 13% HST on merchandise and freight
  • Quebec (QC) – 9.5% PST on the total of the merchandise and freight plus 5% GST on merchandise and freight
  • New Brunswick (NB) – 13% HST on merchandise and freight
  • Nova Scotia (NS) – 15% HST on merchandise and freight
  • Prince Edward Island (PE) – 14% HST on merchandise and freight
  • Newfoundland (NL) – 13% HST on merchandise and freight
  • Northwest Territories (NT) – 5% GST on merchandise and freight
  • Yukon (YT) – 5% GST on merchandise and freight
  • Nunavut (NU) – 5% GST on merchandise and freight

 

Canadian taxes are not collected on orders shipped outside of Canada. However, orders shipped outside of Canada are subject to import duties, taxes, and customs processing fees, which are levied once the package reaches its destination. These fees are collected by the carrier or brokerage company and members are responsible for paying them. Artavi is unable to give estimates for these fees. Please contact your local customs office for more information.


SHIPPING TO THE USA

Orders shipped to the USA are not charged Canadian tax. As of August 29th, 2025, prepaid duties are applied to shipments from Canada to the United States. This means all applicable import duties, and customs fees are calculated and collected at checkout. By prepaying these charges, orders are processed more quickly through customs and delivered without additional payment required upon arrival.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

International orders may be shipped with Canada Post, DHL, UPS or FedEX depending on the location.

Orders shipped outside of Canada are not charged Canadian taxes; however, all orders pass through customs and are subject to import duties, taxes, and custom processing fees. A customs invoice will arrive with your parcel or may follow in the mail. Recipients are responsible for paying these additional fees.

Artavi is unable to provide estimates for customs fees. Check with your local customs office for more information.


REFUNDS AND RETURNS

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

Additional non-returnable items:

  • No Refunds or Exchanges will be made on Clearance Items unless the product is covered under warranty or an error occurred processing your order.
  • Clearance Items
  • Items marked as "Final sale"
  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable software products
  • Some health and personal care items

Any promo code used to discount regular priced items will also consider that item as clearance.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable):

  • Book with obvious signs of use
  • CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened
  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

REFUNDS (IF APPLICABLE)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.


RESTOCKING FEES

To cover our bottom line with credit card processing fees paid on all online orders, all returns that are not from a defective product or an error on Artavi's behalf are subject to a 5% restocking fee. This fee will be deducted from your refund.


SALE ITEMS

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded. Items that used a discount / promo code can also be considered a sale item.


EXCHANGES (IF APPLICABLE)

If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@artavi.ca to see if we still have the item in stock, next you will send your item to:

Once we receive the item back and confirm it is in new condition with original packaging and tags we will send out the exchange.


SHIPPING (RETURNS)

With the exception of shipping errors or a defective product, Artavi does not issue credit or refunds for shipping charges. In the event of any order with free shipping, returned items will be refunded minus the shipping charges incurred by Artavi. To be returned, products must be unused, with original packaging and tags.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

For shipments outside of Canada any duties (pre or post paid) will not be refundable.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.


LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS (IF APPLICABLE)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

GIFTS

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.


SHIPPING INSURANCE

Please have Shipping Protection by Route selected in your checkout cart, for all orders over $100 package protection is required. Artavi will not be responsible for lost, damaged or stolen items that waived shipping insurance. Route automatically calculates the cost based on the item(s) price.


RUSH DELIVERY

Customers can request rush delivery at an additional cost at the time of your order. Depending on where you live there will be several shipping options presented to you on Checkout.


REFUSED SHIPMENTS

All shipments refused by the buyer for delivery will be charged a 40% restocking charge.


UNDELIVERABLE SHIPMENTS

If your item gets sent back to us (RTS) due to an incorrect or undeliverable address the customer is responsible for covering shipping cost to re-ship the item back to them. Artavi is not responsible for double checking the customers checkout information.


SHIPPING RESTRICTIONS

Shipping restrictions may apply to certain products and destinations. These restrictions include regional distribution agreements, over-sized products, and complexity in exporting some items.
