DBX uses 3 layers of interwoven basalt combined with 4 standard-thickness maple veneers and 2 thinner face veneers. The basalt adds structural strength and stiffness while helping maintain the natural feel and pop of the wood. The result is a lightweight, quick, responsive deck with consistent performance throughout its lifespan.
